Hello, I'm Jennifer Kociaj, MS, OTR/L, owner of U Thrive Better Therapies, PLLC.

I am a licensed Occupational Therapist with over 17 years of experience working with children and adults across a variety of medical, educational, and community-based settings. I graduated from Dominican University of California in 2009 with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Shortly after graduation, I moved to Washington State and began my career as an Occupational Therapist, where I have had the privilege of serving individuals and families throughout a wide range of practice settings.

My professional experience includes schools, outpatient therapy, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and home health. This diverse background has provided me with a unique perspective on helping individuals overcome challenges and achieve meaningful participation in daily life.

I specialize in supporting school-aged children with fine motor skills, gross motor coordination, executive functioning, sensory processing, self-regulation, and participation in school and community activities. I also provide LSVT BIG® therapy to help children and adults improve movement, coordination, confidence, and overall participation in the activities that matter most.

I believe therapy is most effective when it is individualized, collaborative, and focused on functional outcomes. By partnering with clients, families, schools, and other professionals, I strive to create meaningful goals and practical strategies that support success beyond the therapy session.
